Talensi Traditional Council calls Concerned Citizens to apologize for disrespecting the Council



The Talensi Traditional Council in the Upper East Region says it is surprised at the actions and statements by a group calling itself the Concerned Citizens of Talensi.

The Concerned Citizens are calling on the paramount chief of the Talensi Traditional Area, Tongraan Kugbilsong Nanlebegtang to resign from his positions in government because he was mentioned by former Upper East Regional Minister, Rockson Bukari in a leaked tape in an attempted bribery case.

Addressing the Media at the Talensi Traditional Council in Tongo, the Council demanded an unqualified apology from the group adding that failure to do so would attract a customary sanction.
