She said her position as a woman and for that matter- a Mother, befits that she opens her arms to all who would come wanting to help in her agenda to develop the region.

Speaking to a cheering gathering of well-wishers and sympathizers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the regional capital, Bolgatanga where she arrived to take over the administration of the region as Regional Minister, the former ambassador to Italy said she would engage more with the region’s people, devoid of political colourization, to find solutions to the problems that affect them.

“I will open my arms and my doors to everyone in the region. I am a mother and it will be unfair to not involve everyone. Ghana is for all of us so Let us be open to everyone”. She entreated.

She expressed her appreciation for the warm reception she received and assured the region her readiness to embrace its people and called on Municipal and District Chief Executives and other stakeholders to come together in unison for the purpose of propelling the development of the region.
