Deputy Upper West Police Commander Involved In An Accident

The Deputy Upper West Police Commander, Peter Ndekugri has been involved in a accident in a section of Wa in the Upper West Region.

The Commander was driving on the Wa-Kumbiehi road at 2pm on the 26th of August 2020 when his vehicle had a flat tyre all of a sudden, this resulting in the commander losing control and as a result he veered off the road into electricity poles, pushing them down.

The vehicle with registration number GT – 2330-Y got damages as the front elevation got crumbled.

The commander alighted safely and called for assistance to get the vehicle off the road in order for other motorists to be able to have full access to the road.

The Jeep was towed to the Wa main fitting shop along the Wa-Tumu Road for maintenance whilst the commander went for medical attention at the Upper West Regional Hospital.
