Zorkor SHS Matron hints of not being alone in the food stuff "stealing" business

Information reaching A1 Radio indicates that, the Matron at the centre of the food stuff “stealing” scandal at the Zorkor Senior High School, Janet Sambo, revealed to the Investigation Committee that, some other persons in the School also benefit from food stuff taken from the School’s store.
Unfortunately the Committee’s recommendations did not mention what should be done to those persons who were said to be benefiting from the “stealing” of food stuff.
It is not clear, if the Matron mentioned the names of her “partners” in crime to the Committee, but what is clear is that, the Committee recommended that, only the Matron, Janet Sambo should be transferred from the school, and no mention was made of a person or persons that the Matron claim are also beneficiaries of food “stealing” in the School.
Reacting to the case and the Committee’s recommendation on A1 Radio for the first time, the Bongo District Chief Executive, Hon. Peter Ayinbisa confirmed that, indeed he also had information that, the Matron, Janet Sambo told the Committee that she was not alone in the act.
According to the DCE, he has been informed that, the Matron has been transfered severally from other schools and that could be as a result of similar incident the students at Zorkor SHS accused her of.
He commended the students for being vigilant in protecting the School’s property and urged them to remain law abiding and never take the law into their hands.
He commended the students for not being violent after their encounter with the Matron and the motor-king rider and urged other schools in the Upper East Region to learn from the Zorkor example.
Though happy with the swift handling of the case and investigation, Hon. Ayinbisa was however not happy with the composition of the Committee, saying the membership should have been expanded to include representatives of the Regional and District Education Directorates, the Regional Coordinating Council and others.

Did I hear the committee’s recommendation was to transfer that Matron?
A country full of jokers will forever remain where we’re.
