Bolgatanga Assembly Constructs 10-Seater Toilet for Daporetindongo

The Bolgatanga Municipal Assembly in the Upper East Region is constructing a number of modern public toilet facilities across the Municipality to improve on sanitation and make the area open defecation free.
One of such toilets is at Daporetindongo, a suburb of the Municipality in Bolgatanga which has a 10-seater capacity water closet for both males and females.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at the site, the contractor for the project, Alhaji Hassan Amaliba of Hassan Brothers Limited said the duration of the project was six months and indicated that he had executed it on schedule.
He said the facility was disability friendly and also had a bath house attached to it.
According to him, the toilet would serve hundreds of people, such as; passengers travelling and arriving from the all over the country and neighbouring countries like Burkina Faso, Togo and Niger daily due to its strategic location.
Alhaji Amaliba called on other contractors to execute quality work according to specifications and on time.
