Youthful Ghanaian Engineer From Bongo-Dua Dies in US After Purportedly Suffocating

Andrew Amuna, a youthful Ghanaian from the Bongo-Dua people group of the Upper East Region however dwelling in the United States has been affirmed dead after allegedly suffocating in a river.

The 27-year-old was an alumni engineer who as of late migrated from North Carolina to Washington.

Neighborhood reports say an inhabitant at Pullman put a pain call to specialists to gripe that a male had been found close to the shoreline at the Granite Point on Snake River, yet couldn’t be found where he was most recently seen.

“On Saturday, July 24 at around 4:35 pm, delegates with the Asotin County and Whitman County Sheriff’s Offices were dispatched for a water salvage at Granite Point on the Snake River. The Asotin County Sheriff’s Office, Asotin County Fire, Whitman County Fire District 14 and the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office reacted and looked through the water utilizing boats and stream skis, yet couldn’t find the individual,” nearby news reports said.

A jump group was subsequently brought in, and they found the dead collection of Amuna around nine feet submerged and roughly ten feet from the shoreline.

The exact cause and manner of death is pending autopsy results and other related findings from the Whitman County Coroner’s Office.
