As part of his three-day working visit to the Upper East Region, the General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi, today, Thursday, June 24, 2021, commissioned a state-of-the-art health facility at Kultamise in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
The edifice, worth GH¢850,000 and funded by the church, has residential accommodation for the health officers, fully-furnished, Out-Patient Department (OPD), Male and Female Wards, Delivery Ward, Dispensary, Washrooms for both patients and staff, Laboratory and Consulting rooms.
Out of the total amount spent on the project, GH¢ 550,000.00 was spent on civil works, whilst the rest was spent on the medical equipment, furniture, beddings, drugs, and other related medical consumables.
A special ceremony was held today, Thursday, June 24, 2021, to commission an ultramodern health facility at Kultamise, a farming community in the Upper East Region of Ghana, and its surrounding communities. The facility was fully funded by The Church of Pentecost through its social services wing, Pentecost Social Services (PENTSOS).The event was chaired by the General Secretary of the church, Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi, with assistance from some ministers of the church including Apostle Sylvester Arhin (Tamale Area Head and Executive Council Member), Apostle Eric Boateng (Bawku Area Head), and Apostle Wilberforce Agyemang-Nkrumah, among several others.
If we could all emulate this act of reaching out to the plea of the vulnerable, then, we would have no cause to worry about jobs creation, good potable water, good health facilities etc. Serving God and country is what is clearly shown here.
