Nurse Shot Dead On Bolga-Bawku Road

A 31 year old nurse, Ismeal Pumi Bashiru was this morning July 20, 2021 shot by armed robbers on the Tili stretch of the Bolga-Bawku road in the Zebilla District of the Upper East Region.

Information available to A1Radioonline.com indicates that, Bashiru was shot at close range on the face several times and was rushed to the Zebilla District Hospital, he was subsequently referred to Tamale Teaching Hospital where he died this afternoon.

The Upper East Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Police Service ASP David Fianko-Okyere confirmed the sad incident to news men.
