The release Black Stars squad for AFCON postponed



The much anticipated Black stars provisional 30 man squad for AFCON 2019 has been postponed to Tuesday or Wednesday reports in the media have said.

Two friendly games against South Africa and Namibia in Abu Dhabi have been lined up for the Black Stars as they prepare for the tournament in Egypt in June 2019.

The Black Stars will pitch camp in the United Arab Emirates ahead of the tournament to acclimatize and also fine tune their preparation.

A final squad of 23 players will be selected from the 30 players that will be announced on Tuesday or Wednesday, for the tournament after two week of training in Dubai. Ghana is in group F alongside Cameroon, Benin and Guinea-Bissau.
