The hawk will never appreciate the dance of a chicken – Richard Asante Yeboah

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been described as a group of ungrateful people who will never appreciate efforts by the government in improving the livelihoods of Ghanaians.

The behavior according to the Deputy National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Asante Yeboah was worrying and an affront to the development of the country.

Mr. Asante who was speaking on A1 Radio’s Morning Show, Daybreak Upper East on Wednesday in response to the demonstration organized by the Coalition for Social Justice to draw government’s attention to the economic hardships in the country, likened the attitude of the NDC members to the unappreciative and rivalry mindset of the Hawk towards the Chicken.

He pointed out that the Nana Akufo Addo’s government has contributed tremendously to the development of the country in every sector of the economy which is evidential to the citizens as compared to the regime of the NDC.

“For a party in opposition which wants to come to power, it will be like having the chicken come before the hawk in the court of law. No matter the sort of argument, no matter the visible and the practical sort of things that are being experienced by the hawk, the hawk will never appreciate the dance of the chicken and that is what is really happening in terms of opposition NDC.’’ He said

However, leader of the All People’s Party (APC) Dr. Hassan Ayariga who also spoke on the show lashed out at the NPP government for collapsing banks in the country rendering many Ghanaians jobless since their assumption into office.

“The banks that our Ghanaian people who are supposed to be helped in even their issues, government is supposed to look into it and find a solution to help raise these banks up but what did we do? We actually destroyed our own and rather bring in foreign Banks.’’ He lamented bitterly.
