Twellium Foundation has embarked another benevolent exercise by commissioning an ultra-modern classroom block to replace old dilapidated Dzabukpo D/A Basic School in Central Tongu Districtin the Volta region.
The magnificent edifice is expected to benefit close to 30-40 pupil, who currently attend classes in a deplorable wooden structure.
Commissioning the facility at a very short impressive ceremony at the premises of Dzabukpo D/A Basic School, Assistant Marketing Director of Twellium Foundation Emelia Gyasi, said prior to their visit to the school, they felt their plight, which compelled them to build classrooms for the pupils, to enable them have comfortable learning accommodation.
This she said, after commissioning an ultra-modern kindergarten block for the school, the company pledged to reconstruct anotherclassroom block to replace an old dilapidated structures in order to help enhance teaching and learning.
“Today we are here to fulfill the promise that we made to the people by commissioning a new classroom block for the primary school,” she explained.
Adding that, Twellium Industrial Company Ghana Limited, producers of Rush Energy Drink and Verna distilled water, launched the foundation to undertake social projects to directly impact the lives of the disadvantaged in Ghana.
The Headmaster of Dzabukpo D/A Basic School in the Central Tongu District, Mr. Gershon Dordoe, narrated how horrible the situation was before Twellium Foundation came to the aid of school; saying it was a threat to the children’s lives.
“We were under the mercy of weather and anytime it threatens to rain, we are compelled to close the school
All we can say is that we are grateful to Twellium Foundation for their unflinching support,” he applauded.
However, on behalf of the school, the Headmaster expressed his profound gratitude to Twellium Foundation for their unflinching support.
The Country Head of UN Youth Ghana, Miss Lilian Sally Addo, said UN was proud to partner Twellium Foundation to contribute their quota in Ghanaʼs education. Stressing that, the Ghanaian youth need impactful projects to get a brighter future.
The UN Youth has been focusing on tackling the sustainable Development Goals and engaging the youth in dialogue and decision making.
According to her, they realized that the Twellium Foundation in their activities to impact the society is also tackling some of the SDG goals, therefore triggering this Partnership.

TV presenter, Nana Aba Anamaoah, who graced the occasion also applauded Twellium Foundation for embarking on such benevolent exercise.
However, she entreated the community and the school authorities to periodically maintain the structure so that it can stand the test of time to benefit the majority of the people.
She also seized the opportunity to advise parents and guardians to take responsibility of their wards in ensuring that their
children attended school regularly, urging the pupils as well to study hard.
Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Fella Makafui, Ruth Awontemi Akofo United Nations Youth Peace Ambassador of Ghana 2018,volunteers, among others were at the event to support the this laudable initiative.
