Ras Badingu, the Afro Pop, Reggae Singer, will be coming home with an unprecedented event christened “Festival Upper West”. The event seek to among other things, portray the talents, culture, tourism in the region to the outside world.
Ibrahim Badingu known in showbiz as Ras Badingu hails from Wechaiu in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
Among the many upcoming stars in the entertainment industry, he distinguished himself by constantly promoting the culture and traditions of the Upper West Region through music. That is evident in many of his tracts. He believes that the Upper West Region is very rich in the area of culture, tradition, talents and tourism.
The ” Pagsaraa” hit maker has been making strides in making this dream a reality. He has toured some parts of the African continent including Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Togo and other neighbouring countries, meeting colleague musicians partly to sell his brand and also to put Upper West in the map of the entertainment industry.
According to him, this year is a year of difference and he will be storming his home with a lot of creativity and innovations as he launches a three day event called “Festival Upper West”. The program has a theme “Promoting Music, Tourism and Culture in the Upper West Region” and it comences on 25th October, 2019 and ends on the 27th October 2019. He has assembled accomplished musicians, business men and local across the globe as well as some local artists from the Upper West Region to help male the upcoming event a success.
He called on politicians, business men and investors, colleague actors in the entertainment industry to join hand to make the program achieve its aim.
