Upper East RCC Upholds Agric Extension Officials With Motorbikes

Upper East Regional Minister, Stephen Yakubu, has introduced (85) MT motorbikes to some agric extension officials in the locale.

The motorbikes are intended to help the extension officials regulate farmers under the Modernizing Agriculture in Ghana (MAG) with help from the Canadian government.

Making the show, Mr Yakubu said extension laborers offer a significant assistance to farmers by standard visits to their homesteads to give them specialized exhort with respect to their cultivating exercises which the motorbikes are intended to work with.

He added that the district delivers a great deal of food crops that feed the country and monetarily engages the farmers and their wards accordingly the help of the extension officials will come approach to expand the yield of farmers and diminish poverty in the area.

Mr Yakubu forewarned the recipients against smashed riding to keep away from mishaps on the streets.

He begged them to put the motorbikes to the reason for which they were acquired.

Upper East Regional Director of Agriculture, Mr Francis Anor guaranteed that the motorbikes will be cautiously and successfully dealt with by consistently guaranteeing that they are kept up with.

Mr Anor said that food creation in the area will consequently increase on the grounds that the augmentation officials will actually want to have customary visits to farmers to give the required specialized and material help for them to expand their yield.
