The Northern Regional Minister, Salifu Saeed has challenged members of the Public Sector Workers Union of Ghana (PSWU) to accept postings to the area, saying there is absolute peace in the region.
He said following the implementation of the Dagbon peace roadmap, the Northern Region is now peaceful than it was in years past, when workers were adamant to accept posting to the area, due to the intermittent conflicts outbreaks.
Mr. Saeed made the call while addressing workers in Tamale during the celebration of the World Labour Day. The theme for the 2019 Edition of World Labour Day celebration in Ghana was: “Sustainable Pensions for all: the Role of Social Partners”.
