Azumah granted environmental permit for Wa-Lawra Gold Project

Gold developer Azumah resources has been granted all of the required environmental permits from the Ghanian Environmental Protection Agency to allow the construction and operation of the Wa-Lawra gold project.

Azumah on Friday said that the permits provide aurthorisation for the constrion and operation of both the Kunche-Bepkong mine and processing plant, as well as the Julie satellite pit.
The gold developer is now working towards concluding funding arrangements in early 2020 prior to the start of construction.
Azumah is on the cusp of a takeover by ASX-listed Ibeara Capital, which is offering the junior’s shareholders 3.3c a share in cash for their interest in the gold developer.
The takeover offer is expected to close on January 17, with Azumah having urged shareholders to accept the offer.
