NOTRE DAME SEMINARY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Notre Dame Seminary Senior High School is an all male second cycle educational institution founded by Very Rev. Fr. Armand Lebel located in Navrongo in the Kasena-Nankana Municipality of the Upper East Region of Ghana. The School was established by the Catholic Church through the arduous work of its missionaries led by Rev Father Lebel on 8 July 1960. The School had an initial enrollment of 31 students and was mainly managed by the Catholic Church until 1990 where the Government of Ghana through the Ghana Education Service (GES) took over in 1996. The current Rector of the School is Rev. Father Francis Kodelogo, a catholic priest. Records show that the school is one of the best schools in Ghana: it students’ performance in the West African School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) has been excellent and extraordinary.
NAVRONGO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (NAVASCO)
Navrongo Senior High School is a school in Navrongo which was established in September 1960 by Ghana’s first president Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. It was named President’s College. The president indicated his dream that this school will become a great centre of learning in the north and that he will watch its progress with keen interest. Later, it was simply called Navrongo School (NAVASCO). Its mascot is the horn, an important northern Ghanaian symbol of royalty, bravery, and leadership. The school’s motto is “LUX BOREALIS” in Latin. It means “The Light of the North”. Old students are known as NABIA, a local word meaning Citizen.

Bolgatanga Girls Senior High School is an all female second cycle institution in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region of Ghana, established in 1956 as a girls’ middle boarding school and converted to a women’s teaching college in 1965 and to a girls’ senior high school in 1973
BOLGATANGA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (BIG BOSS)
Bolgatanga Senior High School is a co-educational institution located in Winkongo, a community in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
The school was established in 1970 with 75 students. The number of staff then was eleven in total: three professional teachers and eight supporting staff.
Records show that students from Bolgatanga Senior High School perform well in WASSCE and national sports competitions. The school also won the 2016/17 National Health Insurance Scheme Quiz competition.
