Isaac Asiamah Impressed With Work On Upper West Youth And Sports Center Of Excellence – Upperwestmedia.Net

Minister for Youth and Sports, Honorable Isaac Kwame Asiamah has expressed his satisfaction to the progress of work on the Youth and Sports Center of Excellence facility being constructed in the Upper West Region.

The facility is one of many sports centers of excellence being built in all the regions across the country. Since last year, the Sports Minister has been inspecting the progress of work on the facilities in the various regions.
Speaking to Journalist after the inspection today, Honorable Isaac Asiamah disclosed he is proud that the Upper West Region is finally going to get a sports facility.
“First of all let me thank Allah that very soon Upper West Region will have a Youth and Sports Center of Excellence, a modern stadium and am proud of that. For the first time we are going to have it in this Region”.
“This Region have been deprived of this sports infrastructure for a very long time. Am happy that the government is intervening in the provision of sports infrastructure for the Upper West Region”, the sports minister said.
He is optimistic that when the facility is completed it will help promote sports in the Region whiles developing talented sports men and women.
Isaac Asiamah further stressed that it is clear the contractor is on point and working according to schedule given to him. He has assured that he will continue inspecting the facilities to ensure they are completed for the development of sports in the country.
