Agric Minister mourns the loss of Builsa South Agric Director

The Minister for Food and Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto has sent his condolences to the family of the Builsa South Director of Agriculture, Sylvan Dauda Danaa.

The 39-year-old died on 18 November 2021 over a short illness. Commenting on his immense contribution to the agricultural sector and farmers in the region, the Sector Minister, Dr Akoto said the country has lost a great man.

He made this known in the Upper East Regional capital; Bolgatanga when he met with various District and Municipal Agricultural Directors in the region.

The Minister said his visit to the region was to have first-hand information as well as interact with industrial players in agric on how they can collectively improve the sector.
