President Of Upper East HISPA, DR. Francis Asaana Passes On

The Chief Executive Officer of Quality Medical Centre and President of the Upper East Regional branch of Private Health Care Providers on the National Health Insurance Scheme (HISPA), Dr. Francis Asaana has passed.
The sad event occurred at his medical centre thus Quality Medical Centre in Garu at about 11:00pm on Monday, August 10, 2020.
Administrator of the facility, Justice Jambeidu, confirmed the incident to A1radioonline.com.
Checks by A1 Radio, revealed that, the deceased Dr. Francis Asaana after an interview on Quality FM morning show yesterday, Monday, August 10, had informed his staff, he was going to Bawku and will return later in the day.
But proceeded to his friend in Garu for sometime until, he was brought weak to the Quality medical centre at about 10:00pm.
Sources say, he was brought in with high blood pressure which was resuscitated.
Although doctors on duty tried to manage the situation, they were unsuccessful.
The deceased, was pronounced dead by doctors of the facility at about 11:00pm.
He passed on in his early 50s and left behind a wife and children.
Before Dr. Francis Asaana’s demise, he was the Chief executive officer of Quality Medical Centre in Garu and Bawku as well as Quality FM.
He also the former Garu-Tempane District Director of health services.
He again contested the 2016 parliamentary elections as Independent candidate in the Garu Constituency.

Dr. Francis Asaana contested the 2016 parlimentary elections as independent candidate in the Tempane constituency not GARU.
