Information reaching A1 News from the Talensi District of the Upper East Region has it that a man has sacrificed his two children to his gods and killed the wife in a cruel manner.
This generated a chaotic scene in the Kulpelga community where this incident occured. Eyewitnesses told A1 News that the suspect, Collins Yagbil, 35 years dragged his 8years son to his shrine to offer the sacrifice to his gods when his little girl of about two years also entered.
After cutting the throat of the boy to spill the blood on the gods, the little girl screamed which angered the father to behead her too and cut off both hands of the little girl.
Sensing danger, his wife attempted to shout to draw the attention of their neighbours but was attacked by the husband and beheaded as well.
The situation led to a scuffle between the deceased family who are in-laws to the suspect to storm the community to kill the suspect meeting a resistance from the community members in Kulpelga.
The suspect, Collins Yagbil was bundled by community members and police was called in to rescue him from the angry mob that had besieged the community.
Meanwhile, the lifeless bodies have not been conveyed to the morgue in Bolgatanga.
