Limited Night “Preps” Hours Affecting Our Studies – WASSCE Candidates of Wa Sec.Tech

Final year students of Wa Senior High Technical School in Wa Municipality have complained of the way their study time is Scheduled.

According to them, they close late from class, 3:00pm and get exhausted but when they make it to class in the night, 7:30pm they are compelled to close 9:30pm as candidates and this is affecting their studies because they get less time to study.
They also added that they were not given a break like other schools after their mock exams to go home and prepare to return for their final exams.

The students also bemoaned the absenteeism of teachers and referred to it as worrying, some year three home economics students confessed they still have six topics uncovered in core mathematics and 12 in Economics due to teacher absenteeism and called authorities to intervene or record an abysmal performance in this year’s WASSCE.
