AFRICA U-17 CHAMPIONSHIP:  GHANA OFF TO A FLYER

The black starlets of Ghana thumped Cameroon by 4 unanswered goals in their opening Group A game at the Africa u-17  championship. Paa kwasi Fabin’s boys raced into a 3-0 lead in the first with goals from captain Eric Ayiah and a double from Ibrahim Sulley. Eric Ayiah scored his second of the game in the second half to compound Cameroon to a resounding opening game defeat.
In the other group A game, hosts Gabon were hammered 5-1 by Guinea. Ghana lie second in the group and will take on Gabon on Wednesday at 5:30 pm.
