Ashgold's Poor Away Record Worsens

Another weekend of disappointed on the faces of fans and well wishers as Ashgold’s away record continued to worsen with a defeat to Brekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park in Brekum.
 
A goal from Sadiq Hadji Abubakar and a spot kick taken by Stephen Owusu in the 51st and 74th minutes respectively gave the home side the maximum three points.
 
Ashgold records very poor away performance this season,none to be compared to any other season.The only away win was against New Edubiase. The game was played in Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium which happens to be the home grounds of Ashgold.
 
In all away matches played this season, away from home grounds, Ashgold has not won a single match. Ashgold has lost eight and drawn eleven of all such matches.
 
Yesterday’s lose sees the miners at 10th position in the Ghana Premier League two matches left to play.
