A mini Mercedes Benz sprinter bus heading for Tamale from Wa was on the 17th of August 2020 involved in a terrible accident as five people have been reported dead.
Then Bus according to a source from a following vehicle stated that the bus got a flat tyre all of a sudden on the road and as a result a passenger on board at the front seat forcefully attempted controlling the steering resulting in the driver resisting.
This resulted in the vehicle veering into the bushes killing two on the spot including the passenger attempting to control the steering at exactly 2pm. They were transported to the Sawla district hospital morgue whilst three others unconscious were taken further to Bole hospital where they passed on.
